Aaron Booker
Chief Executive Officer
Aaron Booker has been a successful serial entrepreneur focusing on the intersection of technology and communication for over 15 years. Aaron began his journey in 1996 as Bellingham’s first Internet Consultant which evolved into managing an Apple Specialist store through 2000. In 1999 Aaron was in the right place at the right time and introduced Bellingham’s Video Editors to Final Cut Pro – the first breakout computer based editor for video. This launch event introduced Aaron to a wonderful community of folks passionate about the intersection of video and technology.
Aaron next began Hardlines Company on 9/1/2011, just a few days before the 9/11 tragedy. Stressful times for a single person startup! By practicing lean startup principles (keep that overhead down!) – Hardlines grew into a successful web hosting firm and an IT Managed Services Provider helping small businesses with technology services. In late 2002, Hardlines executed its first live webcast for “fun”, and then in 2003 began providing live webcasting and live streaming services at Events in the United States as well as in Europe and Asia. In 2006, Aaron was fortunate to join a peer group of IT Companies in HTG Peer Groups – with a focus on Business and Personal Growth. Aaron quickly began to move away from being a technician towards building teams and growing companies. Fast forward to today – Aaron is blessed to work at Varvid alongside a talented team of professionals. Some he met when FCP launched, others when he owned Hardlines (Hardlines sold in 2010), and several are peers he met in the HTG Peer Groups. Varvid has been on a exponential growth curve for the past four years – doubling revenues year on year. Aaron is excited to see what Varvid does next…
